Reiss

imageHere are a few brands that I would kill for (well, metaphorically speaking of course) to get them to our ridiculously sunny shores.

1. H&M

2. J.Crew

And last but not least, UK ‘high-street’ label (even though they are remotely cheap once you convert the pounds to dollars), Reiss. They do have a store in Hong Kong, as with H&M, but I’m certain that you’d agree with me that’s a wee bit too much of a hassle for a garment or two, not to mention the financial cost.

What I love about Reiss is that, its not outrageously high-end. And neither is it flashy (especially when it comes to logos). It is very composed, very calm, very, British. Oh yes. Its amazing, that outfit just above. Though that being said, I am being a little light-headed, since that whole look would not be kind to anyone in our tropical climate/nightmare. Nonetheless, it is very dapper looking – and I want to be dapper.

Reiss probably would not be able to find a market here as it did in Hong Kong, but how about H&M? It is a mecca for stylish garments, at affordable rates (and dare I say, its far more elegant than the whored-out Topman/Topshop).
