There's something particularly elegant about that coat - white/cream simply makes it look so sleek and outstanding among a sea of black outerwear.

Very Great Gatsby-esque, quite lovely indeed.

Burberry has been doing the same ethnic-inspired for about 2 seasons plus so far, and I won't say that it looks particularly fresh, but its hard to say that they have failed to impress - in particular, the showmanship (I mean, who could forget the actual rainfall that was created for the S/S 12 show) and wearability of the featured looks is simply remarkable.

Incredibly nonchalant; as GQ puts it, "[French] without the attitude"

Yet another season of ethnic-inspired prints. Don't know whether that's a particularly good thing or not, but 1. Extraordinary pants in the first picture (I wonder if I can pull it off), and 2. Lovely bag in the 2nd!

Somehow, this really looks great. I know I definitely lack the confidence to pull this (purple pleated pants, flower in hair, Dior clutch, disheveled face), which is why I do admire this man’s confidence.
Its strange how we all conform so willingly to societal norms, and at the same time, complain about our lack of individuality/right to express ourselves. The chance and moment is there for you to seize.
Seize it.

I think this really looks amazing, but knowing Damien Hirst (we all remember his £50 million asking price for his work “For the Love of God”, a diamond encrusted skull), this will probably be really expensive. Its limited release of 400 pairs worldwide will do nothing to lower prices, given the economic theory of demand and supply.

Balenciaga Fall Winter 2010 | Image Credit: Matches Fashion & 00o00
Hmm its quite funny that I bought a coat that is somewhat similar in design to this Balenciaga coat last year (i.e. Fall Winter 2009) from Hong Kong fast-fashion label Izzue. I don’t know, I find it a little odd that a fast-fashion label was a wee bit more fashion-forward/forward-thinking than a high-fashion avant garde label. Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m certain that the Balenciaga coat would definitely be better made than mine though, and it is most definitely more minimalistic/refined in terms of design compared to the Izzue coat, but heck, the Izzue one was a fraction of the cost.

A small collection of fashion and editorial-focused illustrations, done in a refined style with traditional mediums such as pencil, gouache, ink and collage, along with a dash of digital editing.
I love pencil drawings. I wish I could draw like that.

They look pretty interesting. I wonder how much will they cost in Singapore? Adidas SLVR is available at FrontRow, Raffles Arcade.

Herringbone tweed, brown leather straps. Tres chic.
I’ve been hunting for a new bag for a while…
I wonder how much this will cost…

I would love to have a navy blue suit… tres chic. Though one thing I’m not feeling in this picture is the ruffles at the seam lines. A tailored suit shouldn’t have this problem.
Oh that lovely black check blazer at Zara, so chic, yet too warm for our climate…
