You Don't Have to Say You Love - Dusty Springfield
If it wasn't for the Burberry FW 2011 show, I would never have discovered this song. Really nice, so full of emotions, of the pains and loss of love. It is as retro as it is nice. Right?

The reviews [all over the internet] were right. This is an a fantastic effort by Kanye West. It's definitely one of the best album of 2010, and I'm saying this even though I've listened to less than half the album.
The album's sound is simply so grand and orchestral - grandiose and bombastic, almost in your face, angry, yet restrained. Simply brilliant.
So to the dude who said "Wah lao, Kanye West also buy" when he saw me take this to the cashier earlier, well you clearly haven't heard the quality of this album's production. It sure beats the K-pop or Bieber music that you listen to. To say the least, its definitely more passionate at its delivery.

1. Tree - Inspired by those in the forest of the movie "Sleeping Beauty. 2. Mushroom Hat Dude - Inspired partially by those Japanese mushroom thingies (oh they seem to have such an affinity with mushrooms) 3. A very random, somewhat surrealist doodle - Try to figure out what's inside.
All of these were doodled during the various mock papers that the councilors had to sit for. Well I think they are pretty cute if I do say so myself. I really like the 1st one, yeah. And yes I was very bored after a while which was why I started doodling.

Really interesting book: Designing Obama, showcasing the whole creative process behind branding and marketing Obama's 2008 campaign for presidency. I want that book. You can see/read/gawk at each page on the site though.
And the main campaign font, Gotham, is a gorgeous typeface isn't it?
